The elections, which featured two prominent candidates — former Management member Solomon Ofosu-Ware and former Ashanti Regional Circle Council Chairman Benjamin Obeng Sekyere — recorded a total of 3,783 votes cast out of 9,604 eligible voters.
At the end of polls, Solomon Ofosu-Ware emerged victorious with a commanding 3,055 votes, representing 81%, while his opponent, Benjamin Obeng Sekyere, secured 727 votes, representing 19%.
With this emphatic win, Solomon Ofosu-Ware becomes the new NCC Chairman and will serve a four-year term. His election ushers in a new chapter for the supporters’ wing of the Porcupine Warriors, as he takes charge of uniting and mobilizing fans behind the club’s vision.
