Asante Kotoko is pleased to announce the signing of 27-year-old Aristote Tamuzi on a two-year contract following the successful completion of his medical examination in Kumasi. The robust centre-back, who is from Congo and most recently played for AS New Soger, has experience in Eswatini. He is expected to strengthen the Porcupine Warriors defence with his leadership qualities.

Recognised for his strong tackling and aerial prowess, the Congolese played over 60 games in his last two seasons, underscoring his reliability and impact on the field. Tamuzi is eager to make a significant contribution to Asante Kotoko’s 2026/2027 league season.

In his first interview with scasantekotoko.com, he admitted the pressure would be high but he was ready to embrace it.

“Asante Kotoko is a historical club in Africa and Ghana, and I am delighted to be here. I am aware of the pressure, but we will work hard to please the supporters. I am here to work.”
