Asante Kotoko SC can confirm that forward Morifing Donzo will be sidelined for at least six weeks after sustaining an injury to his right metatarsal.Following a series of medical examinations and tests, the club’s medical team has confirmed that the Guinean striker will be unavailable for a considerable period. As a result, Donzo is expected to miss the club’s crucial fixtures scheduled for October and November.
Donzo becomes the third player to be ruled out for the Porcupine Warriors following injuries to Philip Amoh and Danlad Ibrahim, who are also expected to be sidelined for a considerable period.
The Porcupine Warriors, however, will continue preparations for their trip to Swedru for the Ghana Premier League Week Six fixture against Swedru All Blacks. The team will be hoping to secure its first maximum points away from home this season.
