ASANTE KOTOKO SC 90TH ANNIVERSARY STATEMENT

August 31st marks a historic milestone in the proud journey of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club as we celebrate our 90th Anniversary. For nine decades, the Porcupine Warriors have stood tall as a force to reckon with, not only in Ghana but also on the African continent.

This remarkable anniversary will be celebrated throughout the year with a series of carefully planned activities, which will be communicated in due time. These celebrations will not only honor our illustrious past but also inspire our future as we continue to build on the legacy of greatness entrusted to us by our ancestors and legends for whom our club is revered around the world. 

Though we have chalked many successes and written our name in gold, our focus as a club remains on improving our infrastructure, modernizing our operations, and ensuring that we are able to compete adequately with our peers across Africa. Ninety years is not just a number to us—it signifies resilience and the unconquerable spirit of the Porcupine. While many have fallen along the way, we stand stronger than ever, guided by our motto: “Wokum Apem a, Apem Beba.”

A motto that signifies our unity and commitment towards embracing the future, and as such, management together with our cherished supporters, will be teaming up with our proud sponsors, HISENSE, THB , LE COUNTRY NATURAL MINERAL WATER and KORBA in organizing what will be a true celebration of the Porcupine.
