Tinkler Reveals His Captains For The Season

Eric Tinkler has confirmed Lord Amoah and Musa Hamzata as the club’s new captains for the 2026/2027 season. This follows the departure of Samba O’Niel, who was the club’s captain last season. His departure created a leadership void in the squad, and ahead of the new season, the South African coach revealed that last season’s deputy captain, Lord Amoah, will now wear the armband and will be deputised by Musa Hamzata, who captained the team and won the Democracy Cup last Friday.
Amoah has been an influential figure since joining the club two seasons ago and was named among the team’s leadership group last season.
Lord Amoah is currently recovering from an ACL injury sustained last season.
