Asante Kotoko is pleased to announce the signing of 24-year-old Marius Koffi Bini Ange on a two-year contract following the successful completion of his medical examination. The tall centre-back, who combines control with composure, last played for FK Smorgon in Belarus. He is comfortable playing from the back and is also strong in aerial duels. His arrival enhances the Porcupine Warriors’ defensive options for the new season.

Speaking to scasantekotoko.com during his signing, Bini said:

“I believe in my abilities as a footballer and, like most major clubs in the world, the demands are always high. I will therefore do my utmost to help the team achieve its collective target.”

Bini has had three weeks of training with the group and has bonded well with his new teammates prior to his signing.

Stanley Menzo said during Bini’s unveiling that he is positive about the Ivorian’s signing.

“Bini fit the profile we were looking for in the centre-back position. Fortunately, he is from a country that shares many similarities with Ghana, which is an advantage in terms of adaptation. He is a strong player, and we are confident he will help our project for the period he has signed with us.”
