National Circles Council (NCC) Chairman aspirant, Solomon Ofosu-Ware, has fulfilled his promise to the playing body and technical team of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club by presenting them with 50 pairs of football boots as a reward for winning the FA Cup.
The symbolic gesture took place earlier today at the club’s preseason base in Cape Coast, where the team is preparing for the upcoming campaign. The former management member, who was accompanied by former National Circles Council Chairman, Kwaku Amponsah (K5) and other past and present executives of the supporter group, commended the players and technical team for their resilience and assured them of his continuous support in their pursuit of success.
Club captain, Gilbani Samba O’niel, received the items on behalf of his teammates and expressed gratitude to the NCC aspirant, noting that the donation would serve as great motivation ahead of the new season. “This gesture will fuel us to work harder, most especially for our Africa campaign and also to win more laurels for the club,” he said. "We are grateful to him, and we promise to give our everything on the pitch for the Kotoko supporters"
The presentation further highlights the aspirant’s commitment to bridging the gap between supporters and the team through practical acts of encouragement and support.
