CAF Names Ivorian Referee for Kotoko vs Kwara

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed match officials for Asante Kotoko’s CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round first-leg tie against Nigeria’s Kwara United, scheduled for Sunday, 21st September at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Ivorian referee Patrick Tanguy Jean Philippe VLEI R will be the man in the middle, assisted by his compatriots Nouho Ouattara (Assistant Referee I) and Lancine Kone (Assistant Referee II). The fourth official duties will also be handled by another Ivorian, Ibrahim Kalilou Traore.

Meanwhile, experienced Gambian official Bakary K. Jammeh has been appointed as the Match Commissioner, with Sierra Leone’s Sanusie Rashid serving as the Referee Assessor.

The Porcupine Warriors are making a return to continental action, eager to mark their presence in Africa’s elite competitions once again.
