Michael Sefah Joins Kotoko

Asante Kotoko is delighted to announce the signing of 29-year-old centre-back Michael Sefah on a one-and-a-half-year contract.

Sefah, a versatile defender, secured the move on deadline day. Joining the Porcupines from division one side, Port City Football Club. The 5ft.83 centre-back can also operate as a defensive midfielder. He has previously played for Liberty Professionals, now known as Hohoe United, and Medeama Sporting Club, where he gained valuable top-flight experience. Sefah is known for his composure, strength, and ability to read the game, making him a solid addition to the Kotoko squad.

Head Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum expressed his satisfaction with the signing, saying: “Michael is a fantastic addition to our team. His ability to play both as a center-back and in defensive midfield gives us great tactical flexibility. He completed our center-back options as we previously had only three senior ones in Ablorh, Samba, and Ansu. Michael’s arrival not only strengthens our defense but also provides leadership and stability, which will be crucial as we compete on multiple fronts.”
