Asante Kotoko SC has been dealt with yet another injury blow to right back Lord Amoah.
The deputy captain was taken off in the ninetieth minute following a horrific tackle in our 2-0 away victory at Wenchi over Young Apostles.
The club's medical staff, on duty based on their experience, arranged for the right back to be taken to Kumasi before full time.
Subsequent IMR scans revealed that Lord had sustained an anterior cruciate and medial meniscus ligament tear, an injury that could sideline him for an extended period.
Lord, who has made nine-goal contributions this season, will undergo surgery in the coming days.
