Kotoko mourns with Prince Owusu.

A delegation from Asante Kotoko SC, comprising players, members of the technical team led by Director of Football Stanley Menzo, and other members of the club’s hierarchy, attended the funeral of the mother of former Coach Prince Yaw Owusu at Kaneshie in Accra on Saturday.
The club’s delegation joined the bereaved family, friends, and other well-wishers to pay their respects to their former coach’s late mother.
Prince Yaw Owusu was an important member of the technical team that enjoyed a considerable 2025 campaign. Serving as an assistant to Coach Abdul Karim Zito, he was part of the technical team that guided the Porcupine Warriors to the FA Cup triumph and the Toyota Cup victory in Durban.
He later took charge of the team as Interim Head Coach before leaving the club prior to the conclusion of the last season.
