After a difficult stretch marked by injuries, Coach Abdul Karim Zito and Asante Kotoko finally welcomed a double boost ahead of their Premier League Matchweek 13 trip to Hohoe.
Seth Kwadwo made his much-anticipated return after spending three weeks on the sidelines, working tirelessly through recovery sessions following a hamstring injury setback that left him missing five games. The team missed his guile and authority in midfield and his ability to break up play.
Seth, who has three goal contributions this season, was gliding through drills indicating his readiness for the weekend fixture.
Walid Fuseini Neymar also rejoined full training after a month out of action. His absence added to the tall list of absentees during the stacked weeks of games which deprived the team of flair in the final third, but the winger returned looking sharp after receiving the clearance from the medical team who have been working tirelessly to get the players back playing again. The return of the duo undeniably brings options and firepower, exactly what Kotoko needs as they push to climb up the table.
