Asante Kotoko Secures Rising Star Patrick Asiedu

Asante Kotoko is delighted to announce the signing of talented 21-year-old left back Patrick Asiedu from Berekum Chelsea.
Despite his young age, Asiedu has amassed nearly 50 appearances in Ghana’s top-flight league, showcasing his experience and reliability on the field.
Head Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum expressed his enthusiasm about the new signing, “We have been monitoring his progress closely, and we believe he has the qualities to thrive in our system and help us achieve our objectives this season.”
Dr. Ogum also emphasized the strategic importance of this signing, noting, “In modern football, the role of a left back is pivotal not only in defense but also in initiating attacks. Patrick’s versatility and understanding of the game align perfectly with our tactical approach. His presence will undoubtedly create more balance and options for us on the left flank.”
