Statement: Participation in the 2025 Toyota Cup

Asante Kotoko SC is pleased to confirm that we have accepted an invitation to play in this year’s Toyota Cup, where we will face Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa in an international friendly.
The match is set for Monday, 28th July 2025 at the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban, South Africa. This game is an important step in strengthening the long‑standing relationship between two of the continent’s biggest clubs, and it also forms part of our preparations for the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup against a team who will also be participating in the same competition. It will give our team valuable international experience as we build towards a strong campaign in Africa.
The official launch of the Toyota Cup took place today at 10h00 in the Kaizer Chiefs Village.
We are proud to represent Ghana on this international stage and thank the Porcupine Family for their ongoing support. More details about travel arrangements, squad announcements and fan engagement activities will be shared soon.
