Captain Fredrick Asare will commence his rehabilitation programme with the club's medical team this week.

The shot stopper has been sidelined with a lingering knee injury for several weeks but has made a positive step in his recovery. The skipper's rehab is expected to last for about a week before he joins team training.

Head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum tells scasantekotoko.com about his excitement about the news.

"I was informed by the medical team of Asare's recovery process, and though there's no definite date for his return, it's definitely refreshing for the team because he is the leader, and it is always good to have him back. All of us here will offer him all the time and support he needs to recover fully."
