Asante Kotoko SC and South African giants Kaizer Chiefs brought joy and inspiration to pupils of KNUST Basic School during a special outreach programme held on Wednesday, July 16. The visit, part of the build-up to the upcoming Toyota Cup, served as a powerful reminder of football’s ability to transform lives and alleviate poverty.
Legendary former Kotoko player and Ghana coach, Kwesi Appiah, encouraged the students to pursue their dreams with discipline and a mindset of long-term investment, noting that these values are key to lasting success.
Kaizer Chiefs legend, Nomvethe Siyabonga Eugene, praised the partnership between the two iconic clubs, highlighting the importance of collaboration in building opportunities for the youth across Africa.
